  2. So pay for it. Why should care be free or subsidised? Look at what other countries do in the EU for example. German residents are required to start paying premiums into the mandatory public LTCI scheme once they enter employment. Premiums are set nationally as a flat percentage of wages and are shared equally with employers. You get what you pay for.
