I think you are analysing last year's info, when big shifts happened in the last months of it, and in this year, so what kind of situation will be next year, is the question) Also countries ditching USD for international trade means less demand for it, and where it's gonna go? Also the biggest bond buyers are not buying, but selling. While making a new currency is hard, doing transactions in gold is not. So BRICS countries could keep their currencies, but also use gold, kinda like a soft peg to gold. Another thing is why are countries thinking about ditching USD? Because they could gain something - economically and in their security. And it's a strong motivation 💪

  2. Also to remember, ditching USD is not in the interest of the west, so from western point of view it is illogical and dangerous. But for countries outside the western world it's logical to use their own currencies in int trade, and they don't feel secure parking money in USD treasuries
