Tiktok has been sending user data to China for so long. It's about time somebody put a stop to it. And atleast if Microsoft acquired them, then the Chinese government wouldn't have our data.

@brenlogs3402 They don't care because they don't directly see the affect on them, so they think everything is fine and dandy, when it's not. Stealing user data and giving it to China is not good in anyway, and people need to realize this

@yuzulemonhoney Yeah Facebook has that information if you give it to them. All they have of my data is my name and birthday. I don't list all the others things, and yeah maybe they spy on us through websites and stuff, but that's besides the point. The point is that an app sharing our information with China is not a good thing. I could care less if our own country has our information because it's just for targeting ads towards us to make money, but it's concerning when our information is given to China because who knows what they are capable of when they have millions of user's data.

@yuzulemonhoney Lol. That's totally different. The US collecting Chinese data from users is different than China collecting our data. They are not a good country to have our data

@yuzulemonhoney I'm not saying the US is collecting our data for good use. But if I had to choose, I'd much rather our government and country collect our data than a communist China government. I think anybody collecting data isn't a good thing, but if we can prevent a communist country from collecting unnecessary data simply by deleting an app, then I don't see the harm in that. I feel like the only people who should be concerned about this are all the 15 year old girls that are butt hurt because they live on TikTok.
