  1. Food that for whatever reason cant be harvested/processed/sold/transported is destroyed all over the world every day. You should probably let your audience know that. During the foot and mouth epidemic in the UK in 2000 there were whole fields full of dead sheep that were soaked with diesel fuel and set on fire. There was even a rhyme about it: Mary had a little lamb, its feet were full of blisters, Now he's burning in a field with all his brothers and sisters.
