  1. Very optimistic. i will be due to retire in 2040. The problem is that there may not be enough spare food and resources in 2040 to keep a useless old person like myself alive as well as younger people who are working.

  3. I agree, the electrical grid is going to collapse without fossil fuels. We can't run it on wind and solar alone.
