I would just leave and try and find another rental company if I was on holiday and Hertz only had EV's to rent. Imagine spending half your holiday looking for chargers and getting fined for returning the car not fully charged (completely unavoidable unless you return it on a trailer).

I dont blame them really, they just swallowed the lies they were fed. You have to basically reengineer a person to make them see the truth.

The government pressures companies into making these awful decisions. They need to resist or end up like this.

@Salman-sc8gr Oh Christ don't get me started. The event you're referring to made me realise that I am not like 99% of people. I just dont experience fear except in cases where i literally am about to be attacked by a dog or something. I assumed everyone was playing along for laughs but they weren't.

@Bryan-Hensley Drains the batteries like hell. They have no staying power. I find battery powered stuff stops working well long before the battery is completely empty.

@acurafillfilip9868 I always say EV's are for retired or wealthy people who are never in a hurry and that's indeed always the type of people making EV videos.

@scottw5315 i heard that the batteries on all the rental Teslas were damaged because customers didnt know how to nurse them the way experienced Tesla owners do
