  1. There is not much usable natural gas in Ukraine. Fracking has been tried but didn't work. The coal mines are just about exhausted also.

  2.  @a5cent  the ones in east Ukraine were test drilled and found to be not viable. the only gas in Ukraine is a small amount they produce themselves, about 5% of their needs I think it is
