The hospital was not clearly marked with a red cross or crescent, its lkocation was not notified to the Syrian authorities or the UN, and it was located in an area of Aleppo from which terrorsts were launching fire on government controlled areas.

  3. There is no Al Quds hospital in Aleppo. This was an illegal facility supported by MSF operating in a terrorist controlled area, as all MSF supported facilities do. Its location was not notified to the Syrian government and it was not clearly marked with a red cross or crescent in violation of the Geneva Convention. MSF need to stop supporting illegal secret medical facilitities which are dangerously close to the front line, in violation of the Geneva Convention. They are endangering both their patients and doctors. MSF need to start working with the UN who are already present in Syria and the Syrian Government.

  5. Wow Whoa The location needs to be officially notifed to the authorities and the hospital must be clearly marked with a red cross or crescent. It should also not be located in close proximity to combat. Otherwise the Geneva Convention is violated. Claiming afterwards that its location was well known is not good enough and unverifiable.

  6. Wow Whoa MSF violated the Geneva Convention and these doctors and patients paid the price. If MSF had complied with the Convention they could bring a case for war crimes. But they didn't, so they can't.

  7. Wow Whoa It's an accident of war. It's what happens when  MSF recklessly breach the Geneva Convention. On the plus side, if that was the last hospital in terrorist held East Aleppo, the offensive to liberate it can now go ahead no holds barred with no fear of hitting any more.

There are some hospitals in terrorist controlled areas which are notified to the authorities. (Pre existing hospitals). None have been bombed. Except several were bombed prior to the terrorists taking over. By the terrorists. (Car bombs).
