  3.  @signoguns8501  It can't be done. The only way to fix Earth is to greatly reduce the human population. Of course this will happen anyway whether we want it to or not. Once we only have a billion or so people on the planet, there will be no more space missions even if the resources for them existed. The economy won't be big enough to support them.

  6.  @tinderella2386  it has everything to do with it, we cannot feed 8 billion people without them, vegan or not and they won't last forever. its not worth everyone being forced to go vegan when most people will die anyway as a result of cheap fossil fuels running out. Veganism is not a solution to anything.

  7.  @tinderella2386  without fossil fuels there won't be nearly enough land to feed everyone and grow biofuels, vegan or not. most people will die of starvation. you don't seem to understand the problem which is that without fossil fuels we dont have a functioning industrial civilisation any more. there wont be any cars to put biofuels in if it was possible to actually grow any. the survivors will just be subsistence farmers, maybe they will be vegan, maybe not, it doesnt matter.

  11.  @tinderella2386  No we could not. We cannot feed 8 billion people without fossil fuel powered agriculture, vegan or not. About 7 in every 8 people will die in the process of getting back to a sustainable human population.

  12.  @iamsosad1429  Nuclear power plants are extremely expensive and complex. They require millions of highly engineered parts. With a collapsing economy and supply chain it's unlikely we'll be able to build many of them.
