  1.  @lolz616  $26 billion is nothing with China's huge population. They can get this elsewhere, for example from Russia which is next door. Russia is the world's largest wheat exporter.

  2.  @lolz616 Because they wanted to keep the US happy by importing from them. After recent events its clear they don't need to worry about that any more.

  3. China doesnt need food from the US, they can get soybeans etc elsewhere.
