He seems not to be aware it exists. He's just repeating the same old schtick from 20 years ago.

Saudi Arabia now exports oil to China only in yuan. China is their biggest customer.
8
Mexico barely exports any oil any more. Mexico is a net oil importer. Nor is the USA a net oil exporter. It's a major net oil importer. It's a net petroleum exporter which includes a lot of things that are not oil and oil products made from imported oil.
7
Oil produced from fracked wells is too light to make diesel. American refineries don't want it so most of it is exported. America is still a major oil importer for that reason.
5
Well exactly. It's the US that has the problem of not producing anything but dollars.
4
@Longlius of course they want yuan. yuan is China's currency. you can't spend dollars in China.
3
Everything made in China which is everything.
2
They already do. They bought an air defence system from Russia too.
2
@brianfoley4328 The US is doing its best to cling on in the Middle East with its occupation of Eastern Syria.
2
They'll get food from Russia and Brazil.
2
Iran and Saudi Arabia recently signed a peace agreement. Peter seems not to know about that.
2
@aaronbaker2186 incorrect, they use yuan in China.
1
@aaronbaker2186 Dollars are not used in China. So yuan would be preferred.
1
They are using yuan.
1
@Madame702 Brazil is not a significant oil exporter.
1
@Madame702 Brazil will be exporting food to China for yuan which it can spend on Chinese made goods. It can also buy oil in yuan. It won't need dollars any more.
1
@Madame702 Those things are not going away.
1
@davidrockefeller2007 it is diesel we need and American oil mostly can't produce diesel nowadays. it's too light.
1
they are spending the money in China on the things they need.
1
India is not Muslim? India has the largest Muslim population of any country.
1
No. Oil discoveries made in the 21st century are all too small to make any difference.
1
@Eevcee Again, Mexico is a net oil importer. in 2020, the volume of exports from Mexico (114,000 bpd) was only one-tenth the volume of imports (1.1 million bpd).
1
@CrossForum Mexico imports over a million barrels of oil per day.
1
May I also add the the heavy oil from Canada is not crude, it is synthetic oil manufactured from the tar sands using hydrogen produced from natural gas.
1
@kenergixllc527 it is not hydrocracked into a light sweet crude. it is tar that is cracked into synthetic heavy oil using hydrogen produced from natural gas. the product of the tar sands is tar not oil. Canada produces little actual crude oil.
1
They don't need 'defending'.
1
@AlanZ684 of course not, it's complete rubbish as usual.
1
@protorhinocerator142 they will spend it on goods from China. They already buy a lot from China.
1
@mavfin8720 no they didnt. where do you people get this nonsense from?
1
@AlanZ684 Indians are in fact mostly Hindu
1
@mavfin8720 it's not true though. why repeat lies?
1
@mavfin8720 its just silly, think about it. makes absolutely no sense.
1
@leperabbot3343 they would be producers not markets in this case
1
@username7274 they have plenty of fertiliser and diesel fuel so why would they not be producing food?
1
Saudi Arabia and Iran recently signed a peace deal brokered by China. The US is irrelevant to the Middle East now.
