  1. Wow Peter didn't waste time telling lies in this episode. 0:51 Peter says the Russians are unable to liquify natural gas for export by tanker. Two large-scale liquefaction plants are currently operating in the Russian Federation: the first one is Sakhalin-2, which was built by an international consortium and has a nominal capacity of 9.6 million tonnes per year; the other is the Novatek-operated Yamal LNG with a capacity of 17.4 million tonnes per year. Russia is merrily exporting LNG and has been doing so for a long time.

  2.  @craiggillett5985  You've got to be kidding. Europe, especially Germany, is deindustrialising becasue of the loss of Russian pipeline gas.

  4. They were closed down because they were uneconomic. Italy would have to print a lot of money and continue printing it to get those fields back producing.
