@gror7849 ha ha. Here's a little fact for you. Do you know what country won both world wars? The one that was able to produce the most steel. Know how much steel China produces today? About a billion tons a year. That's more than 10 times what the US produces and most US steel is recyled and therefore too low grade to be used to make weapons such as artillery shells and gun barrels. You didn't know that, did you? Well you do now.

@lookoutforchris You're right and it's the same in the UK. small jar of mustard is now £3 here. Used to be around £1 around 2020. I'm not someone who is all that concerned about prices but that sort of rise isn't going to be sustainable.

@bobkoure gone to hell? China has 46, 000 kilometres of high speed rail. the UK and US have zero between them. A single Chinese shipyard outproduces all of the US and they have many of them. your country is not in China's league and now the world knows it.

@bobkoure Have you seen America's debt recently? The difference is China is an industrial power the like of which has never before been seen on Earth. Even the USA at its height doesn't remotely compare. The high speed trains are so smoth you can balance a coin on the windowsill at full speed and they have 46,000 kilometres of high speed rail. The US has zero and its existing railways are falling apart through lack of maintenance.

@tdn4773 dude, it hasn't. everything is made in China. they had to print billions of dollars to bribe those chip makers to start building plants. but you can tell they are very reluctant and i doubt they will ever be making cutting edge chips, if they arent abandoned before they start.
