@teekay_1 yes that's true. also if there were no CO2 in the atmosphere the temperature at night would drop to minus 50 degrees centigrade even in the tropics.

@teekay_1 that's true too but many human civilisations depend on water from glaciers. if the glaciers melt, Canada getting warmer will not make up for that.
