  2.  @rd9102  The US shale beds are unique due to lack of faults. In Europe they are too broken up and the gas has mostly leaked out anyway.

  9.  @judewarner1536  The Dorset oilfield has been in decline for a long long time. Fracking is not viable here, its the wrong geology. Minor earthquakes don't matter.
