@FruityKiting You should trust me because nothing is going to happen. No Moon base. No humans on Mars. Can you even name a date when humans will land on the Moon again? Wasn't it supposed to be 2024? It will never happen. They'll put it off till 2026, then 2028, and on and on, to keep the delusions alive.

@humanistwriting5477 Completely untrue, nobody has found rare minerals in any decent quantity on the moon. even if they had, it still wouldn't be worth mining them. humans will never go back to the moon, there's no point and it's too expensive.

@humanistwriting5477 you have absolutely no idea what the concentrations are in the Moon because it hasnt been explored. what we do know is the Moon doesnt have active geology like the Earth so there will be no useful concentrations.

Not really much point doing it before re-entry for the Shuttle. There was no way to fix the tiles in space or rescue the astronauts.
