He's "Weak," relative to them, because he's never faced a challenge, and they are the Elite, military. Basically the best Warriors of the entire Kryptonian civilization, 3 of them. This reinforces their Superiority Complex, but they were trained in the Military, while Clark grew up on a farm in Iowa, with the strength to pick up a schoolbus, surrounded by humans.   2. Also, the humans show up basically that their Armor is bulletproof. So are the Kryptonians inside, now, but they're in full Battle Armor that our weapons are basically useless against.
