Where do these girls go to school? One of the problems I've always had with these movies is I went to school everywhere from Milpitas/San Jose California to Raleigh NC, and these high school girls seem to skate effortlessly past any Dress Code their schools might have. Nobody's going to say anything about her wearing a skintight sleeveless crop top to show off her naval piercing? Cinematically, filmakers use things like Blondness (Cinderella) and lighting to spotlight the subject. However, when she gets away with dressing like, well a Becky, in High School, it strains my suspension of disbelief. I don't really like dress-codes, and the sexist way they're used to body shame. Blame girls for boy's distraction, and sexual harassment. However, they do exist. Right or wrong, nobody in America when these movies were made, were allowed to dress like a Becky, and it's glaring.
