  2. She's right, the "Would you rather have a client who committed a crime..." Is a trick question. As a Defense attorney, you don't get to pick the client's actual crimes. (You decide to represent them based on the Accusation, or Charges. Not the actual crimes they committed, or are already Convicted of.) If you're aware of criminal action on your client's part, you're not duty bound to defend them. In fact, you can be charged as an accessory in some cases. Also, the question basically boils down to "Would you rather defend a Rapist, or a Statutory Rapist?" On the assumption that she doesn't know Latin.
