  1. The BMW logo is literally cut out of the Bavarian flag. It's funny, because a lot of the car logos you don't realize are plane propellers like Mitsubishi are, but the BMW is pretty obviously stamped out of the Bavarian flag, if you've ever looked up the Bavarian flag. (And you know it stands for Bavarian Motor Werks) I also think it's funny that people use the Greek pronunciation of Mercedes, but it is a Greek name.
