  1. The first amendment starts with the word "Congress..." Before it even gets to Freedom of Speech, it tells Congress, by name to not pass any law respecting an establishment of Religion. Now, we have Senators describing it as a Temple. Using language like "Sacred." Read the goddamned Constitution. You're sworn to uphold the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. Especially where you're instructed, by name, Congress. They made the separation of Church and State pretty fucking clear from the beginning.
