  1. The problem is 200# Bicyclists having to "Share the road" with 2 tonne cars going 50+ miles an hour. It's not the motorists, it's not the cyclists, it's not the bikes, nor the cars. It's cramming a sumo-wrestler into the ring with a Cricket. I wonder who's going to win? We need more places, side walks, and back trails for bicyclists, so that they don't try to compete with cars. Just like we don't allow cars on train tracks (except for a closed circuit, for a laugh, that one time.) Because Cars can't really do anything but get mashed flat by trains. We have separate rail lines for trains, and streets for cars, right? So, what's the problem? Pedestrians afraid of being bumped into by bicyclists? That's hardly lethal.
