Okay, they did the Will reading in Knives Out, but that was a parody (Of Agatha Christie, and everyone who copied her format) a farce, misdirection, AND that's the way he would have wanted it, because he was a mystery writer, who wrote it that way, to turn his death into a big Mystery. (No spoilers.) And probably a rabid Agatha Christie fan, just looking around his house.

You can yell "Fire!" in a crowded theater. That's free speech. If anyone dies as a result of people trampling them, because they believed there was a fire, you can be convicted of murder, or at least Manslaughter. Freedom of speech is not a get out of jail free card. You are still responsible for what you say, and what people do if they believe you. You can tell them you have a bridge for sale, but you can still be convicted of Fraud if you bilk them out of money. You can say that you are going to kill the President, but you can still be picked up by the Secret Service. None of these infringe apon your right to say these things.
