This procedure shouldn't be allowed until adulthood as children don't really know what they want to be. If a girl is tomboy, it doesn't mean she needs to become a boy. Also, it may harm their body (I think, it makes sense) And is it me, or most of the published cases are boys who become girls. There not many cases of girls who become a boy (of course I talk abour those who change it, not the general population)
