  1. About the last thing: I wouldn't buy shoes with that. I think of if that way (I come up with numbers, I don't live in the USA to begin with, so don't kill me for being wrong). I have 1000$ for spending (after I pay all the necessary bills). I am not going to use all 1000$ and get 100$ more, than maybe I'll use part of it for something for me, as I know, in the end, I won't lose more than I excepted (I have a problem of being too frugal).

  2. Maybe it isn't right for food you eat when you're hungry, but a snack or something you bought for fun. In a resturant, you can ask them to change the meal. In the house... you should think twice before eating.
