  1. Surpringly, the book she read is a YA (if it's indeed "Monday's not coming"). Still, not of the books I would except people to learn, even not because of this sentence. Usually misteries/thrillers aren't taught in school to begin with. Another book brought up in the comments "Brave New World" has the same purpose as 1984, though it talks about capitalism instead, though also talks about sex for fun only and ruining thr family, while describing both as bad. Still, I think Fahrenheit 451is more easier to grapg in that age (didn't read to comment about it). The first time we got a book with sex was 12th grade, definetly not 9th
