Vote Only If; 1. Your Quality of Life has been improved over the last 5 years 2. Good Paying Jobs prospective are good and secured for you. 3. You have more money to spend. 4. Your Children's Future is secured and protected. 5. You can afford the expensive hospital or are provided with Real FREE Medical Benefits. 6. You can easily afford the 99 years leasehold Public Housing without burning away more than half your lifetime [and your wife] of saving. if obstinate Singaporeans do NOT "Change" then they will be forced to be "Changed" aka "Replaced" sooner or later. By the time we are able to withdraw a portion of our CPF, will the value depreciate to ~half? Internal caused inflation [Petrol/Energy, GST & Carbon Tax Hikes] depreciates elderly retirement savings by ~40%. Vouchers will not cover the loss. These days, $50 "almost" cannot buy anything. I just bought from a small neighborhood store. The Super Value 600 Bread has increased from $1.10 to $2.30. That is 109% increase in price just 1.9 years ago. These days, its getting harder and harder to Trust "Anything" they say.

I think Sinkies should rather spend a bit of their time to calculate and know how much they are paying to the GST per year base on their annual expenditure X 9% X 10 years Plus similar contribution from their household members and then reject the vouchers bait and VTO for a permanent solution to the problems of inflation and hardships.

You are entitled to your own personal view but as it is, are flawed with Hypothetical accusation of others as distorted reality, AND that cannot be representative of all the other Singaporeans experiencing real hardships and difficulties and here is why; - According to a "reliable survey" some time ago: 2 in 3 working Singaporeans do not have savings to last them beyond 6 months. - According to CNA News the other time, Credit companies see rise in people applying for personal loans, for daily essential included.
