  1. and many of them are here blaming Obama for some reason. ARRA was a great program, and this doc mysteriously attributes TARP to him even though it was Bush's plan. Weird how Bush isn't mentioned AT ALL.... Obama's changes to TARP later on are what gave it accountability directly to the Executive Branch. Bush literally just gave the money away.

They set interest rates and ultimately control the new money supply, so they've ALWAYS had that power.
