  2. I think it's interesting how Cthulhu stories align with Silurian hypotheses to some degree. I mean, we don't have remains of any antediluvian civilizations, but then again we don't know how much primordial crust has disappeared into subduction faults in the Pacific. We can surmise that the continents were once joined into one supercontinent, but we can't know what was on the opposite side of the planet at the time. Also, Gorn are the Slestak of the future; Land Of The Lost is in the ST universe. Think about it.
