  1. Another thing people need to understand is that there are probably more foreign agents inside our government than at any time in history, because we keep electing them. Politicians who take donations from and peddle influence with our strategic competitors would love to cancel systems like the F35. Sure, a few might be legitimately concerned about the cost of the program, but they have access to more information than we do about it, so they should all know better. And it's also one of the biggest reasons why Russia and China want to keep other countries from joining NATO or otherwise making themselves eligible to buy into the program.
