21:30 I have to disagree about JJ Asshat's Star Trek. If you don't think Kirk was an action hero or that TOS was an action series, then you certainly don't remember all of Shat's fight scenes. I think the movie allowed that aspect of Kirk to unfold in a satisfying way, and the alternate timeline allowed for the fan service to seem perfectly legitimate. Of course, it was all downhill from there, and allowing Simon Pegg to write the script for the ultimate franchise killer Beyond might have been the worst decision in the entire history of the franchise, at least until Discovery dropped.
As far as the earlier TV property based films, none of the TNG flicks were worth a hot crap on a cold morning, but Wrath of Khan and The Undiscovered Country were instant classics of sci-fi that still hold up. Ricardo Montalban and Christopher Plummer quoting Shakespeare just like real life psychopaths do? Are you saying that was bad? Shame on you, shame, shame, shame.
