  2. Dams are terrible for everyone. The only reason they get built is because land owners lobby for them, to benefit them and only them. We can build more fission plants for power, and if we did that we wouldn't need hydro storage either. And we have plenty of arable land in this country that doesn't require all these complex hydrological projects.
