  1. Harbor Freight is also good if you're buying just-in-case tools. I wanted to add a prybar to the emergency kit in the trunk of my car, and after a bit of comparison shopping, I bought a 15" flat prybar at Harbor Freight for $3.99. This was a much lower price than I had seen anywhere else, even in the cheap tools aisle at Walmart. Would it stand up to heavy use or last a long time? Probably not. But it will only see infrequent use. It may never be used at all. In a case like that, I think a cheap tool is sufficient.
