Comments by "Jason Devon" (@jasondevon481) on "Kenya’s colonial inequalities continue, decades after independence - BBC News" video.
BBC/YouTube just deleted a comment where all I did was mention the fact that Africans enslaved Africans and sold them to everyone, including the UK. Therefore I'll retype it again here. Also, Great Britain spent around half a century stamping out slavery across the globe after we were amongst the first to abolish it. The BBC never mention that little nugget.

So we GAVE them their independence 57 years ago and they still haven't sorted themselves out? That's their fault, not ours! Oh, yes, "thanks for all the roads, trains, education and stuff, Britain" is what you won't hear them say, according to the BBC at least. BBC hates the British.

KENYAN COFFEE is nice, yes? Great Britain introduced it in the 1890s and much of it is produced today by small farmers over there, helping ordinary Kenyans. We're not called "Great" Britain for nothing. 😉👌

Toussaint Louverture Ah, that old chestnut: "read a book LOL", how original. Mansa Musa had no idea about how valuable gold was and gave vast amounts of it away to strangers when he visited Egypt. The guy was a blithering idiot who squandered his country's randomly lucky wealth. I read that in a book.

Toussaint Louverture The wheel did not come from Africa, neither did mathematics. The concept of measuring length and space was developed independently by many peoples in almost every region across the globe, not just Africa. You know very little.

Toussaint Louverture Gold is gold, it's valuable to the whole world, end of. Mansa Musa wanted to be flash, so gave loads of it away, despite the fact that many of his people were actually poor. Mansa Musa also owned slaves - shock horror! 😊✌

@CKnaija The British did NOT enslave the Kenyans, because we BOUGHT slaves from West Africa and Kenya is East African. Also, we only had it for a century or so, not "hundreds" of years.

@A4969Z I know a lot about history, which is why I am proud of "that" flag. Everything I have written is true and I have NO GUILT for my ancestors being very good at things that everyone else tried, but were inferior at.
6
Yep, we recognise we were fantastic.

@utubebroadcaster Ho ho ho, you're funny, leftie! That concept of hating Great Britain is going to win you so many friends and work opportunities. EVERYONE I know voted for Brexit and we're all very glad, including the university professors I know.

@jameswhiteley6843 Illegal ivory from murdered elephants is the only thing I can think of at present. Maybe I'm being unkind, but I can't honestly think of anything Kenya has invented. I even googled it and found nothing original. Pull your finger out, Kenya!

@marcusmuriithi It has, we're living in a wealthy country, because we invented things and fought for what we have. You don't see British people moaning about how our lands were conquered by the Romans two millennia ago. What you do see though is plenty of people of African descent living happily in our country after we welcomed them in and treated them the same as us. Karma.

Prat.

@A4969Z So because I love my country and know a lot about its history, you want me to go to hell. That's pretty vindictive really, you must be really unhappy with your life to be so bitter. Go and have a nice cup of Kenyan coffee, which Britain introduced to help the Kenyans.
3
@utubebroadcaster No, I'm saying that Labour are a leftie party (obviously) and they do not respect the referendum result.
2
@A4969Z Great Britain got its wealth because we invented things, worked hard and fought even harder. Nothing was given to us. I am proud of that.
2
@A4969Z Wrong again. I've already told you how we made our wealth and it was NOT because we stole it from everyone, it was down to the country's hard work and ingenuity. Go and educate yourself to all the inventions and discoveries British scientists have made. We built the modern world and began the Industrial Revolution. You're rude, clueless, full of hate and have no viable counter arguments for mine, so I think I'll bid you good night and ignore your ignorance now. Bye, bye. 😊✌

@elleelle9730 Prove it! Resorting to ad hominem only makes you look stupid, so prove why you think he is a "dummkof" (you spelt it wrong, it's dummkopf). 🤦♂️

DE-FUND THE BBC, enemies of the British! Be proud of our once massive empire, which was the fairest, as well as the largest in history.
2
@islamisthetruth3402 Yes it was the largest. The British empire had 13 million square miles, much larger than the second largest, the Mongolian empire of "only" 9 million square miles.
2
@CKnaija The video is about Kenya! Also, labelling the continent of Africa (presumably) as "these countries" is highly vague and even insulting to the Africans.
