  1. The vast majority of people back the cuts and want them reduced further. We were giving 0.7% of GNI, compared to France 0.4%, Canada 0.3% and Japan 0.2% and more than pretty much every other leading nation. This was TOO MUCH! We have poor people in Britain who need it more.
