@KillingTheMotivation The combined import and export of goods between the EU and UK is well over 600 Billion Pounds. Does anyone honestly think that this would stop overnight? We'll still trade with them and they with us, but we'll have the benefit of new deals around the world when we finally leave, benefiting the poor and middle class, but not the corporations, because they like cheap workers who do not need apprenticeships (my heart bleeds for them). There will be more jobs here because of this and the price of goods will go down, as we import from places other than the EU more.
Secondly, it's not just about money, it's about sovereignty and also democracy. People voted to leave in spite of the entire mass media and establishment telling them to stay. They said we'd lose 800k jobs and yet we've gained 500k - 1.3million difference! I do not wish to be an EU citizen, I want to be British; that is my tribe, culture and my people. I could go on for hours and mention a thousand facts, but there is little point, because, fundamentally, once two groups of people become entrenched in their views, they rarely change. I'm clever, I smell bullsh1t from a distance and our leaders are covered in it. We're leaving and we'll do great. Be happy.
