Comments by "Jason Devon" (@jasondevon481) on "Why France produces the most World Cup players" video.
When France last won the WC in '98, most of their team was born outside of France. That's how they produce players.

Four of them in the squad, not two. It can make a massive difference to have four really good foreigners come and play for a country's national side. Do you think Italy or Holland would have failed to qualify if they had four more really good players? Your current squad also has three foreigners in it. That is SEVEN out of only two squads. That is a lot.

England has ONE player in it born overseas, not three. When we won it in '66, all of our team were from England. This video is about France, which currently has three overseas born players and had four in 1998. Thuram, Vieira, Karembeu and Desailly were all key players back then.

No, go and look it up. Thuram was born in Guadaloupe, which is not in France. Karembeu was born in New Caledonia, which, again, is not in France. The current squad has three players born outside of France, not two. Thomas Lemar was born in Guadaloupe, which is not in France. They have had SEVEN players in two squads born outside of their country, which is a lot in only two squads. Now, I'm done with you.
