  1. He didn't describe the various theories correctly, only mentioning the stupid one. An experiment in orbit showed that if you rotate a ball of floating water with a little air inside, the bubbles form into a long pillar aligned with the axis, so maybe there are caves along both ends of that axis, where the poles would be, as the Earth was once a ball of liquid (practically) after the massive collision that formed the moon. I'm not saying I am totally convinced, it's just important to mention the most scientifically feasible theory.
