  1. Tom, excellent review as always. I just test drove a Kicks and a Soul "S" trim. The Soul is head & shoulders better than the underpowered Kicks. I believe that the Soul uses a chain driven CVT instead of the belt driven version in the Nissan. Very little "rubber band" effect in the Kia. Kia has a MUCH better powertrain warranty too.
