Like the styling, it's targeted at a mature, upscale buyer. Elegant, not flashy like the overly edgy Cadillac XTs. Holy skinny jeans though, Mike! 😉
6
Definitely the Cadillac Lyriq. I completely agree with Zach. Also, it's criminal that 360 degree cameras, cooled front seats, and more range isn't standard at $72000 CAD
6
The Mazda... if only for that sexy Soul Red metallic paint! Excellent work as always, folks!
6
Brutally honest review. Thanks for taking the gloves off on the Sequoia. People will buy it for the Toyota badge, but I'd rather have a Tahoe or Suburban turbo diesel. Well done.
6
Mazda 3 Turbo 5-door please. VW Reliability questions is reflected in the 5 yr resale value.
6
The Gwagon is absolutely the ultimate urban assault vehicle 😮
5
Newly in-house designed CVT?? Ummm, wait a year or two before buying to determine its reliability and service records.
5
I completely agree with Andrea that the Corolla Cross is really the better option for families. More space, higher seating, and it looks amazing in Cypress green. Always enjoy your work! Cheers from Virginia USA 🇺🇸 👍
5
Absolutely the MDX. Infiniti as a brand is on thin ice and has terrible resale values
5
I believe that the CVT that Muttsubishi uses is sourced from its partner NISSAN. Which means its the horrendously unreliable JATCO built and designed CVT. Lease if you must, do not purchase. ☠☠☠
5
Mazda 3 sedan please. It's more powerful (191 hp in 2.5 na form), beautifully styled, and has a high quality interior.
5
A ricer Camry. The rear wing is absolutely horrendous
5
The CX-5 Signature styling is far better than the overwrought black plastic cladding on the CX-50. The additional headroom on the CX-5 is needed for us tall Americans 🇺🇸
5
The avocado paint reminds me of my Mother's kitchen appliances in the early 70s..... harvest gold is probably the next paint color to be resurrected. Great review guys. Highly recommend leasing over purchasing
5
JEEP = Just Empty Every Pocket 😮
5
@brahsumatra the Toyota transmission is really a planetary gearbox, not a "traditional" belt driven CVT
5
I'd lease the Audi, but purchase the Acura
5
Very poor resale value - lease only 😮
5
Excellent review of two fierce competitors -- I'm a previous VW owner, and value conscious, so I'll take an ID4. The styling of the BZ4X is just too bizarre for my taste.
5
Excellent work, very informative. I'm ready to make the jump to full electrification with a Tesla Model Y. The hybrids are a halfway point, but given the high prices and limited availability, Tesla just seems to me to make sense, especially with the updated Tesla v4 supercharger network. The Model Y LR also has a $399/month leasing program, or buy for approximately $43000 USD after incentives.
5
That drive mode dial looked like it was going to come off in your hand, Zack!!
5
Love the couples banter. The Escape has the better styling, the RAV4 is far more rugged looking. Zack, a review of the Bronco Sport versus Jeep Cherokee perhaps (when available)?
5
Congratulations on the new car! Love the plaid interior 🎉
5
Definitely against the CVT transmission. I'll take a Mazda 3 sedan, please.
4
Love the interior and powertrain, but the exterior looks like a hearse....
4
I'd wait for a new C-class, or perhaps the Cadillac CT5. Either way, LEASE do not buy. Depreciation on luxury sedans is very steep.
4
Yes to the Mitsubishi reviews. Mitsubishi needs to get rid of CHaDemo charging port on the Outlander.... sooooo archaic
4
Awesome review. I can't imagine the 7 seat version of the RX. Excellent review and always enjoyable to watch.
4
In this class, I'd definitely consider the Santa Fe hybrid or even a hybrid Maverick for those who have an outdoorsy lifestyle
4
Actually in the US the Signia is 8k more than the base Venza. There's no base version of the Signia 😊
4
HARDBODY IS REBORN!!
4
Excellent review Zack. HEY CADILLAC!! You need to take LOTS of notes on what Lincoln is doing... I'm just saying!! Lincoln's new design language is elegant but understated 😜
4
Zack, great review. The G90, not so great. It looks soooo Korean. Very imposing, and the grille has outdone the gaping mouth on the Lexus LS. The rear looks like a Lincoln, not so much Porsche. Interior, however, is gorgeous. Needs a panoramic roof, IMO. Also, for the money, I'd prefer a CT6. ⭐⭐⭐
4
Entertaining and informative as always. The Volvo is too pricey for me, so I'd rather try the just unveiled Bolt EUV at $34K USD and likely lease the Bolt. Battery technology is changing at a rapid pace, so I see leasing as a financially safer lower risk alternative.
4
@kenhoward3512 the old we lost your car keys 🔑 in the back spiel. Such grimey dealers ploys to wear prospective buyers down.
4
Its such an ANCIENT platform that its reliability is good. A revamped model line-up is REALLY needed. US dealership network is very sparse, especially outside of the largest urban centers. And why buy a Mitsubishi when you can buy a platform-mate at the local Nissan dealership? CVT transmission is not my personal preference, especially in terms of durability 😮
4
I'll take a better looking Venza
4
Track pad and button shifter are total fails. I'll wait for the CX-50... or get a deal on a Corsair
4
The white BZ4X with the black cladding has a Star Wars stormtrooper vibe to it. Excellent review as always.
4
For $45k plus, I'm taking a Lincoln Corsair Reserve in flight blue... with AWD and the 2.0L turbocharged engine. Great review, always enjoyable to watch both of you 👍
4
Hybrid RAV4 please. Great review 👏
4
High on my test-drive list for 2025. Great review- very informative.
4
Great review of the CX-5. While a Nero or a RAV4 hybrid may be cheaper, the driving dynamics of the CX-5D is markedly better, and it's MUCH better looking to my eyes....
4
Car rental grade interior. I'm thinking that the CX30 2.5S is a better option
3
The ultimate executive livery SUV. Competition for the Escalade
3
Came here to say that. A face only a insect mother could love. Hideous
3
A V6 and a torque converter automatic? TAKE MY MONEY 😅😊
3
It's definitely a station wagon. Look out Subaru Outback 😮
3
You two are hilarious 😂. Love the couples banter! 😂😊
3
Handsome SUV, very understated and elegant. Thanks for the thorough review.
