1. Subscription services for vehicle functions 2. Piano ๐น black glossy plastics on interior and exterior trim. 3. Packages that require other optional equipment to get. (In order to get this package, you must get package ๐ฆ B) 4. Expensive packages to get driver safety assistance features that are standard on a Corolla 5. The nearly total lack of REASONABLY PRICED small and midsized American built sedans. The Ford Maverick is great, but not everyone wants a trucklet.

For 28K USD I'm buying a Mazda CX30

I loved the Honda Element!!

Merry Christmas ๐ ๐

Tesla's Cybertruck just got its lunch eaten by Ford's Lightning ๐ฉ ๐

Ford has just announced that the Escape will not be built after 2025. So will the Edge....
1
The Corvette looks like the nose and the tail were designed by two different styling teams.... and the rear styling team came from the Camaro studio. Its an awesome sports car, but its styling is somewhat off....
1
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU BOTH!!
1
Lolzzz ๐
1
The Mazda trucks sold overseas are badge engineered Isuzu D-Maxs. Doubtful that Mazda would sell the BT pickup here....

Happy New Year ๐๐

Needs a Medici crushed velour interior, and at least a turbo V6. I mean, it's okay, but nothing unique or exciting.

Polestar HAS ZERO cachรจ in the United States ๐บ๐ธ. Volvo is of course a known brand with some brand status
1
The Benz is absolutely beautiful and costs more than my house.....
1
The new generation Corvette eats the Supra's lunch. There's no comparison to that V8 mid-engine thrust and handling.... for less money
1
The XLE looks awesome in that teal metallic paint color. Very Lexus like. Speaking of Lexus, any word on an updated ES model? Thanks ๐
1
Merry Christmas to the Spencer family. I'd pick the Camry hybrid as the COTY. Its just an outstanding value, especially in the lower trims.
1
10.2 inch display? Squashed Buick Verano rear styling? Not named Legend? Hard pass from me.

I'll take a Soul (S trim) and some good winter tires

Good review, Max. Brutally honest. The interior space is truly sized for Asians... more diminutive stature. The rear seat is tiny, and the seat cushions on the rear bench felt like concrete. For a few dollars more, I'd move up to an Escape or even a Renegade. And Newfoundland looks beautiful, but very bleak.

How long before the complex electric motor in the 10 speed automatic transmission fails? Can you imagine how flipping expensive replacement cost will be.... OMG.
1
Adios Toyota Venza..... this Crown Signia will replace the Venza
1
The Nissan V-motion grille appears to be dead.... thank goodness ๐ฎ๐

Thanks for the great review. The bloopers are HILARIOUS!! About the Hyundai, as a 58 year old, I agree that the demographic for the Santa Fe is aimed at an older more traditional buyer, but as one of those buyers --- I like the switches, buttons, and the styling. I like the chrome trim - I am definitely not one for the horrendous "murdered out" all-black trim and wheels that's so prevalent today. Hyundai NAILED it with this hybrid Santa Fe.
1
Love these joint reviews, Zach & Andrea. Personally, i don't really need a third row so id opt for a Mazda CX5 Signature. Well done, thank you both! Stay safe and well.
1
Great review! For the money that Chevy wants for the higher trims on the Blazer EV, I'd definitely take the Lyriq. ๐
1
"What's under the floor?". I actually giggled.... but then realized that that's the new normal in the automotive industry ๐ค

The Mitsu dealership network is very thin outside of the top dozen population centers in the US. The Nissan JATCO CVT is a major reliability concern, and the front fascia isn't attractive to my eyes. And I would buy a CX5 turbo for its power and handling.... if I was inclined to purchase a tall station wagon. ๐
1
Hyundai is also catering to the Asian markets with the frequent styling changes because the Asian buyers expect "newness"... it's especially true in China ๐จ๐ณ. I'm thinking that a Corolla Hybrid is more of a value in this class, with excellent fuel efficiency and resale value.
1
For the first time EV buyer in Florida, definitely look at the updated Model 3/Y
1
Given the comparison, I'll take an Camry XLE in Ocean Gem paint ๐จ. However, for the money I'd much prefer a turbocharged CX5 Mazda.
1
The Toyota is still ultra reliable and resale is sky-high, but the new Kia Sportage is more attractive and a great value
1
Just buy a new Prius for the first questioner. Do you even need a RAV4?
1
The front end styling is overwrought. Looks like The Predator.... Mitsubishi dealers network in the US is very thin....
1
Exactly!! My next door neighbor had that done to his Accord... stolen directly from his own driveway!
1
Actually, I'd prefer the Aviator for the velvety Lincoln ride tuning, Range Rover like styling, and the quietness. The ST label on an Explorer SUV is just sacrilegious. Ford has REALLY devalued the ST label. Also, giving the Explorer ST the supposedly Lincoln exclusive engine and drive train does hurt the exclusivity of the Aviator. ๐ C'mon Ford, import the European Focus ST into America.... and send us the Focus ST wagon too!!
1
WET dual clutch automatic. Much more durable than the awful DRY dual clutch transmissions that were used by (cough!) FORD... .
1
Personally, I'm waiting to see the new Maverick pickup.
1
Still a huge fan of the Cadillac CT5
1
Horrendous styling and a troublesome CVT that's already been recalled in the Corolla Hatchback. I'd buy a Kia Soul.
1
The MDX has an elegance about its appearance. I think it would be stunning in black The all black interior is a bit severe, but livable. I'd personally be cross-shopping the Aviator and the MDX. Excellent work as always, very enjoyable video.

Sorry, looks like a tumorous potato ๐ฅ
