The Rouge is a unremarkable, but well rounded crossover. The major demerit is the fragile JATCO CVT transmission, which really puts a dent in resale value. Otherwise, it's a fine long distance cruiser. 7 hour drive from Phoenix to Nevada was comfy, fairly quiet, and very fuel efficient. But the janky CVT is a ticking time bomb

No longer a "MINI"😅
4
Micah, I have never seen so much tire smoke in my entire life. Love the Bullitt! 🔫 And in what post-apocalyptic location did you folks film this? Looks like a nuked Levittown. 💣

Hi Brian!! Good narration 😊
3
Ummm, CT4 please. Heck, even a Mazda3 turbo 5-door
3
I'd go with a Cadillac CT5 for less money and more rear seat space.
3
Definitely the Mazda3 😊
3
No CVT!! BUT the 2.0L Variable Compression turbo engine has serious issues... like failures of main bearings and L-link failures in the VC mechanism
3
For $31k, you're well into CX5 territory. I'd move up to the move space and higher resale of the CX5.....

The new Buick Invicta... ummmm, Envicta?? It's a historic Buick nameplate. (Invicta, not Envicta... nevermind). I rented a Envision for a drive to Arizona high country from Phoenix, touring around Sedona, and the Envision was a great cruiser. Ultra comfy seats, plenty of room for 4 big adults, and a day trip worth of backpacks and a Coleman cooler easily fit in the cargo hold. Library quiet too. Ate up 500 miles in one day. Yeah, I know it's made in China, but the Chinese buyers love Buicks.....

Mitsubishi has a dying dealership network here in the USA. The US dealers were told to upgrade their dealership to a new Mitsubishi corporate standard (basically demolish old dealership and construct new Mitsu dealership facility) and many dealership owners told Mitsubishi to pound sand. A few in Florida just recently simply closed with zero notice to the public.

Vigorous thrashing by Mr Muzio!! Interior trim pieces cheaply made! I realize that it's a pre-production vehicle, but still. Does anyone see a first generation Plymouth Barracuda in the tail lights? Might be tripping. 😨 Good work, Micah! 😉
3
The xB has been dead for YEARS.....
3
Great job Lyn....
3
Toyota 4RUNNER
3
Corolla Hybrid 😊
3
The Range Rover is gorgeous 😍 even better in a darker more saturated paint color. LEASE, DO NOT BUY. Depreciation is horrendous and reliability is questionable 😳
3
Nice work, Mike. Loving the bright red paint and especially the updated interior. The price isnt bad either.
3
RAPTOR PLEASE
3
Less horsepower??? GTI please! 🏁🏴☠️🇩🇪
3
Ill take a Kona Hybrid. The Fiat build quality is spotty and that 9 speed automatic is known for premature failure.... repeatedly.
2
New generation of the Encore is coming, with more safety tech. Might be worth waiting til later this year. The upgrade turbocharged version is really the only way to go, as the base engine is damn slow...
2
Why not keep with the current Mazda naming system and call it the CX-4??
2
Very bourgeois, Micah. Benz is like the German premium version of Buick... a boomer mobile. 🧓👵
2
The new Golf in the US market
2
No uglier than a Trump 2020 sticker.... I'm just saying. 😉
2
Horrendous fuel mileage.... its just another tall heavy hatchback. And a rainy day in the LBC.
2
YAWWWWWWNNNNN. Another tall station wagon
2
You guys are hilarious at KBB. And thanks for the rolling footage through Long Beach, I miss my old home town. LBC! ⛵
2
AMEN THOMAS... includes Lexus
2
I prefer the monotone look of the Envista Avenir.... the black cladding looks cheap....
2
Better, but not great. CX5 please
2
10 year, 100,000 mile factory powertrain warranty absolutely required, Dodge!
2
Nice job Danger. I'll take the hybrid hatchback
2
Ranger Raptor please 🎉
2
Mazda equips all of its SUVs with all-wheel drive 😮
2
Way too much money. I'd go for a Bolt EUV even if I would have to deal with the glacier slow Bolt charging curve....
2
LOVES THE LBC rolling scenes!
2
ROOOOXXXXAANNNNEE, you don't have to put on the red light .....😉
2
Such terrible materials quality in the interior. In time, interior trim will fall apart or squeak over every bump. Electricals are very janky too. This Passat seems to be aimed at China or emerging markets.... decontented. As a two time VW owner, my advice is to lease or buy Japanese.
2
Ok, who dinged the drivers side rear around the wheel well? See 3:44 . Nice to see Micah back, and love the LBC rolling shots! 👍
2
Nope, not the droopy butt look for $50k. I'd look at a Cadillac CT5 for about the same price. Ohhh, and tell Tim not to litter. Keep Long Beach beautiful!
2
Such an adorable little girl, and you're looking like a happy new dad. Is there plans for a all-wheel drive version of the Pacifica?
1
It's not awe inspiring, but it's definitely not an emotional design....
1
Dear Cadillac, Lincoln is beating you up and stealing your lunch money. And bragging about it to everyone in school. Get your crap together. Better interior materials and build quality. Oh, and torque steer hasn't been fashionable since the 90s. Glad to hear you have excellent grip strength, Micah.😜🙃
1
Micah, always enjoy your reviews. Informative, but enjoyably irreverent. Love the rolling footage through Long Beach, I miss my old hometown. Hey, one question, where do you get all of the cool automotive novelty T-shirts? Thanks! 🌴🌵🌴🌵🌴🌵
1
The Z side sculpturing makes the car look like its been sideswiped..... oh, and kitchen is fine for location. Unless your backyard is more interesting? Reviews from the helo??:😉 Be well!
1
Good review Brian! A very overpriced GMC, though. I'd buy a Expedition or Tahoe for almost $70k
1
Montage format was awesome. Reminded me of music videos from the 80s. The montage of the Montage made my brain hurt. Oh, keep the beard Micah!
1
$32K!!! With a shoddy JATCO CVT? Nissan resale values are abysmal because that transmission is just junk.... repeatedly fails. A shame, it's a decent looking sedan.
