  16.  @CyberLance26  I've done some research on this. I don't believe Nixon did anything that had not been done before. They (the media) hated him because of 1. Alger Hiss (a Communist Spy) 2. Helen Gahagan Douglas, who was Hard Left an A Darling of Hollywood. And Richard Nixon wasn't, + he was an outsider.
