  3.  @MrTruckerf  Been following this since the late 70's, and on a regular basis I am told (by the great and the good), that all manner of bad terrible things are happening because of Climate Disruption, and if we don't act NOW its the end of the world as we know it. I am always reminded of 3 words when talking about this. Connected...Nonlinear...Chaotic. I suspect many people will find nice careers studying this.

As time when on nagging doubts started to arise, then I read State Of Fear and the light bulb went on. Michael Crichton was a golden boy, until he wrote State Of Fear. In around 37.5 minutes he went from Golden Boy to The Worst Person In The World. Funny how that happens when you Question The Narrative.

Those of us who served, we know thing and have experienced things (good & bad) civilians can't understand. Being in the military is a lot like sex (you WILL get screwed at some point. :-)), you can read about it, talk to people about it, watch movies about it...but until you've experienced it...you don't have a clue. Its your 1st night in basic, you're in your bunk and thinking.."OMG What Have I Gone And Done!" Yet to meet a Vet who has not said those words or something similar. The main thing I got out of my 3 years 363 days 12 hours 42 minutes 18 seconds (but who's counting :-) is the ability to get along with and work with people I have absolutely nothing in common with. So YES It Was Worth It. BTW AIR FORCE! We're the smart ones...send the officers out to fight.

Funny thing, the Old Testament talks a lot about the Messiah when/where/how/who the Messiah was going to be, and many many people Knew exactly how the Coming was going to happen. They Were Wrong. I suspect the same is true today. 47 years ago I became a A Christian and at that time I was told (with great authority) that This was The End Times, now it may very well be, BUT here we are 47 years later.

They all have Scripture to back them up, they all have been dominant at one time or another, and they are mutually exclusive. I really don't spend a whole lot of time studying this anymore. IF materialism is Not True, and there is good Evidence that its not, the question must asked..then how did we get here? "The video has several quotes from scientists that were/are all religious. This is a common argument for God, but not a valid one." And many quotes from Non-religious scientists, the problems with materialism. And one Alan Sandidge who came to faith in Jesus based largely on his studies in astrophysics.

He spent most of this lecture talking about what he (and others) Observed. Based on those observations he came to a logical conclusion. So how did he debunk his lecture? And yes I'm giving you a (Highly Sought After) attaboy....ATTABOY! :-) This is (in my experience) a rare occurrence on You Tube particularly...a Civil conversation. Disagreeing WITHOUT being disagreeable.
