  2.  @Caroline.123  Not in 1939. In 39 Stalin & Hitler had a real mutual admiration thing going, that lasted until 1941. You might want to read "Bloodlands: Europe Between Hitler and Stalin" by Timothy Snyder As Jonah Goldberg put it "Facism v Communism. Coke vs Pepsi of the 20th century."
