  1. Rather than Deep State, I prefer to call it The Permanent Government or simply The Bureaucracy. Words matter, and the way you call things matter. Here's the thing (IMHO) it's dying, it just doesn't realize it yet. I say this because its To Big, To Intrusive, To Expensive, and it Doesn't Really Work Anymore. The days of the one size fits all top down government are numbered.
