  4. What I see here is (for the most part) is not a group of Black Voters, but a group of average American Voters. A lot of their opinions/concerns cut right across racial lines....And That's A Good Thing....no make that a Very Good Thing.

  6. @Carl Candiano Why its almost like one political party/ideology needs to keep picking at the scab. I was born in 1948. On the day I was born, you could make a good argument that America was racist...It was certainly segregated (and I'm not talking just the South, but sea to shining sea). NEWS FLASH.... its not 1948 any more. You can Make It here by doing 4 things in this order 1. Graduate from High School 2. Get a job 3. Get Married 4. Have babies. If you do these 4 things in this order you are 70% more likely to make It...reach the middle class. If you Don't graduate or have babies before marriage...You are well and truly screwed..regardless of your race.

  10. On immigration: It should be easy to come here legally and darn near impossible illegally. (For the record, A number of years ago a guy I worked with commented that I was just a little to the right of Attila the Hun. :-))
