My wildest Christmas party? I'd say Dec. 24 1968 Osan AFB. C Fight and Tiger Flight 6314 Security Police SQ, had a small....soirée, to celebrate and that many of us were so SHORT we had to look up to see down. The exact details are somewhat hazy, I do recall Midshift Law Enforcement (the guys with the White Hats) the 1st Sgt, and Squadron CO putting in an appearance. A Good time was had by all.

@1313qwertyqwerty Seen some photos online. Its Grown...but then I'm talking 50 years ago. I did notice some young ladies standing around. When I was there Osan regularly had the highest VD in PACAF...and the 6314th Security Police Squadron was always in the running for the VD championship.

There was a stock Market crash in 1920, no one remembers or talks about. As I recall it was Worst than 1929. 18 months later we were into to the roaring twenties. What did the Harding administration do? Well nothing. Depression of 1920–21 https://mises.org/library/forgotten-depression-1920

The firebombing of Japan....and the downside of this is..................?

@TimeGhost Its called war, a war Japan started I might add. And given the technology of the day... It is 1944 and You are put in charge of the strategic bombing campaign against Japan. Question what would you do? I am often reminded of something Arthur Harris said "People talk a lot about picking out targets and bombing them, individual small targets – in the European climate? I’ve come to the conclusion that people who say that sort of thing not only have never been outside, but they’ve never looked out of a window."

@TimeGhost And what would you have done?

@TimeGhost In Europe, After June 6 1944 a valid argument. Before not so much. Also one the reasons the Normandy landings worked was because (practically speaking) the was no Luftwaffe, atl east when compared to (say) 1943. Reason being strategic bombing. After Long Range Fighters came on board, The bombers were used as bait to draw the Luftwaffe up to fight, where they were killed. + those planes were not on the eastern front. (once again) Its 1944, how do you attack Japan, and end the damn war as quickly as possible, with the fewest allies causalities? Thing is, it is one thing to look back After the war is won to say shoulda coulda. Its an entirely different thing when you are in the middle of the fight. I really don't understand why I am having to explain these things to someone who loves/reads/studies history? At any rate, I really do LIKE your channel. HISTORY..HISTORY..HISTORY i keep telling people. If you don't know (some) history you're going to be...confused. Keep up the good work.

I've been trying for the last year trying to figure out just what the heck You Tube is trying to do!

You know, it might be me. Seems every channel I like gets demonetized.

@TimeGhost Ever considered making cute cat & dog videos? :-) (seriously) I really don't understand what their definition of controversial is....and why its some sort of Bad Thing. BTW I get Upset at least 4-5 times a day, generally by something coming from The Left (but not exclusively). Whats the old saying from my Hippie days "If you're not upset, you're not paying attention."
