@paulgarrett4474 "In The beginning God Created The Heavens And the Earth."

@paulgarrett4474 Yes, but A question that Materialists can't answer is, How Do You Get Something From Nothing? Around 13.8 Billion years ago there was Nothing. No Time, No Space, No Matter, No Energy...*Nothing. Then suddenly there was something, and something expanded into The Universe. *Not even Kieth Richards (rim shot).

@trumpbellend6717 1. Good Morning! 2. "OR there has always been something." IF by that you mean the universe has always existed. (If you don't mean that, then I don't know where you're saying. but then I'm not all That bright). This was a debate in cosmology circles. By the early 70's it was shown to be wrong (same for the oscillating universe). As far as we know (and boy Do materialist cosmologists HATE this) 13.8 billion years ago the universe suddenly came into existence, Apparently from Nothing (they have a pretty good idea of what happened back to maybe 1/4 second after singularity, before that it's just (my word) a mush. Cosmologists have been trying desperately to mind a materialist answer for What Happened. So far with no success. IMO the problem is the assumption that Materialism/Naturalism is correct. 3. I can give you some Names to look up, some videos to watch if you are interested.

@trumpbellend6717 "(2) one of the many totally plausable hypotheses of big bang , multiverse, constant cycles of contraction & expansion, ect ect. That require absolutely nothing supernatural." Multiverse: A nice Idea. An an Idea is all it is. With no observable evidence to back it up. Oscillating Universe: Discounted Years ago because there's not enough matter (even with Dark Matter). The Real Problem is you are presupposing/assuming materialism. Discounting the other view. With I suspect no knowledge of what is Really being said. Thing is on a level playing field in debates the materialists do not come off well.

@trumpbellend6717 Atheism Of The Gaps?

@trumpbellend6717 1. As I suspected you really don't know the arguments we make For there being a God 2. Explain Beauty 3. Some people you might look up. “Faith is not a leap in the dark; it’s the exact opposite. It’s a commitment based on evidence… It is irrational to reduce all faith to blind faith and then subject it to ridicule. That provides a very anti-intellectual and convenient way of avoiding intelligent discussion.” -Dr. John Lennox (Emeritus Professor of Mathematics at the University of Oxford and an Emeritus Fellow in Mathematics and Philosophy of Science at Green Templeton College, Oxford University.) "Most people already have heard of the big bang and agree with scientists that it accurately describes the origin of the universe. What most people don’t know is that the big bang also reveals the characteristics of the creator, the God of the Bible.” Dr. Michael G Strauss (experimental particle physicist currently doing research on the ATLAS detector) "It was my science that drove me to the conclusion that the world is much more complicated than can be explained by science. It is only through the supernatural that I can understand the mystery of existence." Dr. Allan Sandage (one of the most influential astronomers of the 20th century)

@trumpbellend6717 As I mentioned earlier on a level playing field Materialists don't come off well. My point is Many Very Smart scientists are Theists and Christians. When Allan Sandage left the Materialists this was a Huge Thing. And The reason he left was the Evidence said Materialism was false. Do some actual investigation as to what Theists and Christian Scientists Actually say and Why they say it.
