@scotlandtheinsane3359 You Really don't know that much about this do ya? I could recommend some people to read if you want. (Shot answer) You are assuming God is part of the universe. God exists Outside the physical universe. God Is Eternal.

@zupremo9141 THE question is which requires The Smallest Leap Of Faith. I'd say There Is A God. It allows me to answer 3 questions with the smallest Leap Of Faith. 1. How do you get Something From Nothing? 2. How Do You Get Life From Non-Life? 3. What Happened To The Body (of Jesus)?

@theotheoth " She hasn't even read the Bible, knows nothing of the Old Testament atrocities committed by God's wonderful people, usually under direct command of God" Its fairly obvious you know very little about this either.

@scotlandtheinsane3359 Of Or how can something come from nothing? Without Some leap of faith. Since 1964 and the cosmic background radiation, it appears the universe Did have a beginning. Since then Cosmologist have wrestled with this inconvenient fact. The universe had a beginning, and maybe a beginner.

@bimfred "or our planet was created for ‘us’" Example: Google Search: "Probability Estimate for Attaining the Necessary Characteristics for a Life Support Body" (one in 10 to the 282nd power..against) Or Rare Earth: Why Complex Life Is Uncommon in the Universe Peter Ward, Donald E. Brownlee “It was my science that drove me to the conclusion that the world is much more complicated than can be explained by science. It is only through the supernatural that I can understand the mystery of existence.” Allan Sandage (American astronomer. He was Staff Member Emeritus with the Carnegie Observatories in Pasadena, California.[2] He determined the first reasonably accurate values for the Hubble constant and the age of the universe.)

@niiivara Shiva is a VERY different god than the one in The Bible. Just as Hinduism is A VERY different Religion than Judism.
1
@niiivara Do what you like, BUT you live in a society/culture/civilization based (to a large degree) on The Bible NOT The Vedas. Choose, but choose Wisely.

Richard Dawkins Who Is Perhaps The Most Famous Atheist In The World That's like saying The Most Famous Ignorant Person In The World. See Dawkins vs Lennox.

Atheism a mile wide an inch deep.

1:06 Richard Dawkins Position: I Don't Want There To Be A God. Sometime in the next 10 years(?) he's in for a real shock.
